Christopher Nolan's 'The dark knight' is a masterpiece for me. Honestly I admit that I don't know much about the technical stuff but I do know how it feels and the message it conveys. Now let's get into it.
The Story: It's the journey of batman, from just fighting criminals to finally realizing the true weight of justice. It's dark and realistic. The writing is very interesting and never gets bored. Many dialogues are now iconic and the storytelling is on point.
The Music: Background music in this movie really elevates the emotions of the scenes. It made me felt the dialogues perfectly. It's just great.
The Performance: Everyone did their job perfectly, especially Christian Bale and Heath ledger. Everything about Ledger's performance was outstanding. He dominated every scene he was in.
The Message: In the end there are some peoples whose ethics and morals can't be destroyed. "When the chips are down, these civilized people, they will eat each other". This dialogue still applies for many and this is another truth.
Note: it's only my thoughts and yours can be different and that's fine.
